It's me
I am the brush stroke on the canvas and the coffee stain on the tax return, often the slant in the straight line - full of passion and imagination...
But sometimes it's also a whirlwind in a teacup, a rebel with a southern temperament or the spice in the soup.
You can't put me in a box because I am the sum of an unsolvable equation and creativity determines my life.

My story
I originally come from the former Yugoslavia and have lived in Ludwigshafen am Rhein for over 30 years. As a trained chef, I put all my creativity into the art of Mediterranean cuisine for many years. Yes, I was even self-employed for a long time and ran my own little restaurant.
Health reasons finally led me to calmer waters in 2011, so that a year later I found my way back to my long-forgotten hobby - painting.
When I was a teenager, I worked as a seasonal worker in Austria and used the first schillings I earned to buy a simple easel, a set of brushes and a basic set of various oil paints. After returning to my home village of Ostra Luka (in today's Bosnia-Herzegovina), I started my first artistic attempts until, after a while, I was drawn again to other European countries.
After short stops in Trieste, Ankara and Basel, my path finally led me to Ludwigshafen, where I began training as a cook before the outbreak of the Yugoslavian war and met my future husband. My painting utensils were completely forgotten and were temporarily stored by my mother in the attic of my parents' house until I rediscovered them during a vacation in the summer of 2012 and, after a short period of experimentation, finally specialized in acrylic painting.
